Obituary of Roberto Crespo

Roberto "Papo" Crespo of Lindenwold, formerly of Camden, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 7, 2017 at 57 years. Devoted father of Janet Oquendo, Janette Pough and Erica J. Crespo; Cherished grandfather of Nathaniel, Natalie, Michael, Gabryella and Janiyah; Dear brother of Carmen Quiles, Berenilda "Moya" Bermudez, Luis J. Bermudez, Josue A. Bermudez and Jose A. Bermudez and stepbrother of Madeline Lopez; Also survived by his dedicated caregiver Betsy Hernandez and many loving nieces & nephews. Roberto was a very faithful man who was a longtime member of the Mens Society of Fatima Sociedad del Santo Nombre. He was known as the "Foster Grandfather" of the children of El Centro Day Care Center in Camden. He also was active in his churches, he was a member of Fatima, Mt. Carmel, The Cathderal of Immaculate Concepcion and most recently St. Jude's in Blackwood. He loved to dance, especially at Atrium Dance Studio and sing with La Tuna de la Alegria. He was a huge Philadelphia Eagles Fan and heavily involved in the San Juan Bautista Parade. Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Friday from 7 to 9 PM and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 642 Market St, in Camden. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
