Obituary of Roger A. Velez

Roger A. Velez, age 52 years, of Camden, passed away on February 25, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden. Beloved husband of Yolanda I. Acosta. Devoted father of Rosa, Sheila, Suhei, Rogelis and Karina Velez. Loving grandfather of 7. Cherished son of Ana E. Ramos and the late Samuel Velez. Dear brother of Idelis Lopez, Noemi Velez and Lourdes Velez. Also survived by mother in law, Adaleida Santiago, sister in law, Yanira Acosta and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Prior to his illness, Roger was employed at USI in Springfield, NJ as a district manager. He was a member and president of Club Los Amigos in Camden and enjoyed listening to music and playing dominos. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 6-8 PM and Friday from 9-10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Rd. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday evening at 8 PM and final prayers will be held on Friday at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Arlington
