Obituary of Barbara M McHugh

Barbara M. McHugh (nee Melko), age 78 of Pennsauken, New Jersey, passed away at her home on March 11, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Thomas J. McHugh; mother of Thomas (T.J.) and his wife Denise and Michele McHugh-Mazzatta and her husband Mark; Loving grandmother to Braeden, Mark and Matthew. She is also survived by her aunt, Jennie Scholkopf; brother, Joseph Melko; brother in laws, John (Irene), Dennis (Chris) and William McHugh; sister in laws, Eileen Pisko, Dorothy Schuler, Mary Monagle (Dan), Kathleen Owens (Francis); dear cousins and numerous friends and other family. Mrs. McHugh was a secretary at Merck Inc. and Camden County Vocational School. She was a devoted wife of 57 years, a dedicated mother, a fun loving grandmother and one who loved the beach and spending time with her friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Thursday at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken. Committal services will take place privately at the convenience of the family. The family requests memorial donations be made in her name to Camden Catholic High School, 300 Cuthbert Blvd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
