Minnie Verchio

Obituary of Minnie Verchio

Our Mom passed away on March 22, 2018 at age 91. She lived in Pennsauken and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was married to the late Raymond. She is the mother of Robert (Deborah) Verchio, John (Susan) Verchio, and Barbara (Rich) Tornese. Cherished grandmother of John Raymond Verchio and Tara Tornese. Dear sister of Dot (Bob), Albert (Joan), and the late John (Iness) and Anthony (Betty). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mom was born in Camden then moved to Pennsauken where she lived 60 years. What can I say, she was Mom, a great Mom. She was always there for us, always putting us first. My siblings and I always had nice little lunches when we came home from elementary school. When we were older we would bring our wives over for wonderful Sunday meals. Mom likes the casino and my brother would take her there to play the slot machines which she liked. Over the last year and a half you started getting ill, and it wore you down. You fought a good battle but it tired you out. But you gave it a good fight. Mom from John, Barb and I, thanks Mom. We love you. We will all see you again. God bless you. –Robert Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday from 11AM to 12PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N.
