To my cousin, Ne'Cole... Nas was such a beautiful spirit who had the heart of an artist and a lovely smile. All of you did a wonderful job loving and raising him to be a kind, gentle-man. To Na'veah... my heart is with you cousin... i can only imagine how you're feeling but know that I love you.

My heart goes out to the Whetstone family. Death is never easy to take but unexpected death is even harder to deal with. It's in these times that we must turn to God and thank him for the time he allowed us to enjoy Na'Cere. People are only loaned to us so we should value that time and never take it for granted. I pray for the strength of the family as they say goodbye to their loved one but more importantly I pray that those of us who still have breath live a more fulfilling life in Jesus Christ.

I am heartbroken beyond words can express. This past Saturday, I lost someone who meant so much to me. Na’Cere was just 23 years young. I remember him being born like it was yesterday! It’s hard to even think that he is truly gone.
Na’Cere was more than just family to me. We shared a deep connection and bond that was very special. He was humble, loving, and kind, always showing up for others with a smile that lit up any room. That smile, paired with his handsome face and gentle spirit was EVERYTHING any godmother could ask for. He left a lasting impression wherever he went. He was such a humble young man.
He never missed a moment to let ME know I mattered. He always sent holiday wishes, birthday shout-outs, little check-ins that now mean even more than I ever realized. That was who Na’Cere was. He was thoughtful, consistent, and full of heart.
One of the MANY memories that I’ll always hold close to me is the fun we had on his 21st birthday. My husband and I had such a good time with him and all the rest of the fam. We laughed, we celebrated, we danced, we got lit and we made memories that now feel even more precious and that I will never forget!
The pain of this loss cuts DEEP. Deep to my core, but so does the LOVE I carry for him. I will MISS him every day, but I will also HONOR him by remembering the happiness he brought into MY life.
Rest peacefully Na’Cere. You will truly be missed.

I taught Na’Cere when he was in 2nd Grade. He was intelligent, hilarious, serious, and so kind! His smile was so big and his laugh was infectious. One funny memory: Na’Cere came to me with a tooth and said “Ms. Jenkins, my tooth fell out!” I celebrated with him and said “oh wow! That’s great….you’re about to get paid! Let me see which tooth you lost” Na’Cere opened wide and all of his teeth were intact. Long story short, Na’Cere found his classmates tooth on the rug and claimed it so that he could get money from the tooth fairy!! Lol! His mom and I had a good chuckle about that even years later! Ne’Cole I know your heart is broken. May your memories of your precious baby bring you ultimate comfort. Rest in Heaven Boney Toney❤️
