Susan will always be remembered as a brilliant woman who got the job done,I had been a member of the temple family for 25 years and found myself at a crossroad when I wanted to transistion to a nurse ppractitioner position but none where available, Susan recognize the need for more NP's as temple outpatient was rapidly growing. Susan created new NP positons, thus ensuring I remained a part of the temple family. It has been an honor to work with Susan as she was compassionate & proacitve in all endeavors.

I didn't know Suzanne personally, but I know her son, and that he is respectful, kind and close to his mother -- and respectful of women in general. The request for donations to a cause that fights domestic abuse/violence is an important one, and we should gather together to support it, learn from this tragedy, and work to educate women to be leery of controlling men, and recognize abuse in early stages. My deepest condolences go out to the entire family.

I just wanted to share a poem in memory of Suzanne…. “Love holds my hand in the valley, Dries ev’ry tear from my eye. Sings me a song when I’m weary, Finds me a reason to try. Just as the lover of roses, holds to the fragrance of Spring; Mines not the thorn that reposes, Oh, love is a wonderful thing! Love, flowing on like a river, has no beginning or end. Unmarred, unbroken forever; born in the heart of a friend. Love will not leave you, will never deceive you, Oh, Love holds my hand in the valley, Dries ev’ry tear from my eye – Finds me a reason to try. Oh Love, O Love…Love.” May the memory of Suzanne and the love she showed, live on in the lives of all she touched. She will be greatly missed.

Words cannot express the shock that I continue to experience over Suzanne's death. God must work in mysterious ways because I don't think there is any way for us to understand why she was taken from her family at her age, and in the manner in which she died. May the family find grace and peace.
