Obituary of Gloria M. Tocco

Gloria Margret Tocco (nee D’Auria), age 89 of Greensboro, Lake Oconee, Georgia, formerly of Pennsauken, NJ, passed away on February 5, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Michele J. Tocco, Jr. She is the devoted mother of Rose Vendetti (James) and Michele J. Tocco, III. Cherished grandmother of James Vendetti, Jr, Tara Belviso (Gerardo), Rachael Gruber (Ryan) and Danielle Tocco.  Loving Great Grandmother of James Vendetti, III, Pierce Vendetti, Grayson Belviso, Julian & Logan Gruber, Jacob Tocco, Evan & Grace Thompson.

Born in South Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Rose D’Auria (nee Giordano) and sister of the late Joseph D’Auria (Nancy) and late Sabatino D’Auria (Lillian).

A devoted homemaker, Gloria took immense joy in spending time with her family. She was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of St. Stephen’s Church in Pennsauken, where she actively volunteered.

She had a passion for travel, visiting destinations such as the Panama Canal, Hawaii, London and Paris, among others. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She was also a talented knitter, creating cherished homemade blankets for her loved ones, and an avid card player.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 9-10:30 AM at Falco, Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 Browning Road, Pennsauken, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Stephen’s Parish, 6306 Browning Road, Pennsauken, NJ. Entombment will follow and take place at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
