Obituary of Nilda Lopez

Nilda Lopez (nee Caraballo-Rivera), a lifelong resident of Camden, passed away at the age of 60 years old on February 12, 2025 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden.  She was born on March 14, 1964 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Pedro Angel Caraballo-Rivera and Virgen Maria Rivera-Santiago.

Beloved wife of Raymond; Devoted mother of Sasha, Lakisha (John Renaud) and Raymond Lopez II (Cassandra); Loving grandmother of Aniya, Alonni, Aiden, Aziia, Aaryen, Liam, Micah and Noa; great grandmother of Aaven and Asaai; Dear sister of Carlos Echevarria, Ana Echevarria, Pedro Caraballo, Juan Caraballo, Maritza Alston, Maria Rivera and the late Rodolfo and Jose Echevarria.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

Nilda enjoyed dancing, listening to music and enjoying good food.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband Raymond to many places throughout the Caribbean as well as Florida, Puerto Rico and Hawaii.  Most important of all, though, were her grandchildren.  They were truly her pride and joy.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, February 20 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11AM.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
