Obituary of Juan Segarra

Juan Segarra, age 68 of Camden, passed away on February 16, 2025 at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township, New Jersey.  He was born on September 26, 1956 in Lares, Puerto Rico to the late Bernardo Sr. and Eleuteria (nee Rodriguez).

Devoted father of Juan Jr. and Janet Segarra; Loving grandfather of Gabriella Segarra and Robert Chestnut Jr.; Dear brother of Ramona Merlino, Carmen Garcia, Angel Segarra, Lucy Sanchez, Edith Gonzalez, Efrain Segarra, Joaquin Segarra, Teresa Gonzalez, Bernardo Segarra Jr., and Orlando Segarra; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Juan enjoyed being around friends and family and being the life of the party.  He also enjoyed fishing and listening to music.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, February 21 from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday from 8:45 to 9:45 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street in Camden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM.  Interment will take place privately at a later date.
