Obituary of Eunice E. Jose
Rev. Eunice Jose, age 87 years of Camden, passed away peacefully at home on February 18, 2025.
Rev. Jose was the devoted mother of Henry Jose, Manuel Jose and the late Loida Jose; the loving grandmother of Talia, Adan, Ella and Ariana and great-grandmother of Micaela. Rev Jose is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and many other family members across the United States.
Prior to retirement in 2002, Eunice was a teacher with the Camden Board of Education for 25 years. In 2000, she founded El Buen Samaritano Orphanage in Valle Juelo, Dominican Republic. Eunice's proudest accomplishment was the start of Loida Development Learning Centers in Camden in 2005 and a second location in 2009. She was an ordained minister and was heavily involved in both the women and children's ministries at the First Spanish Pentecostal Church in Camden.
Eunice's mission in life was to always help others. On a monthly basis, for MANY years, she sent dozens and dozens of containers of goods and supplies every month to the DR to be distributed at the orphanage and nursing homes. She will be missed by all who had the honor and privilege of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 9:30-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow.
