Obituary of Elissa Marie Minessale

Elissa Marie Minessale (nee DeStephano), age 73 years of Cherry Hill, formerly of Pennsauken, passed away on February 25, 2025.

Elissa was born on July 12, 1951 to the late Nicholas and Maria DeStephano (nee Coletti). Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. "Butch" Minessale Jr. Devoted mother of Joseph A. Minessale (Amy), Angela Minessale (Jim), Elissa "Danielle" West (Mike), and Mary Ginarose Minessale. Loving grandmother of Amanda (Joe), Alysa, Joseph, Matthew, Michael, John, Anna, and Logan. Cherished great grandmother of Joseph, Jacob, Ryan, Emma Jace, Ava, Noah and the late Skyla Rose. Dear sister of Nanette Newmark. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Lisa took delight in the heartfelt stories of Nora Roberts, finding peace in their pages. She lovingly cared for her houseplants with tenderness and loved holding babies in her arms. At the same time, she embraced the lively spirit of Atlantic City, where she often spent time with her husband Butch, enjoying the energy of the casinos.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Saturday, March 8, from 10-11 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
