Obituary of Ernest R. Still

Ernest R. Still, age 78 of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of Camden, NJ, passed away on March 15, 2025 in Manhattan, NY.

He is the dear brother of Lorraine Mayes, Donna Young and Dane Young; cherished uncle of Troy, Kia, Jamahr, Latasha, Kamilah, Bruce, Nashay and Brittaney and great uncle to many great nieces and nephews.

Ernest was a United States Army Veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a man who had a sense of style and fashion. He loved to read, listen to jazz and gospel music, visit museums, and attend theater productions and concerts.

Affectionately known as "Rooney" or "Ernie", he would return to South Jersey regularly to spend time with his family. Always on his calendar was a special visit to attend the annual Still Family Reunion held in Lawnside, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Saturday, April 12 from 4:00 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM.
