Obituary of Linda A. Knox

Linda A. Knox (nee Giordano), age 71 of Pennsauken, passed away at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden on March 26, 2025.  She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Frank and Lieselotte (nee Kaferstein) Giordano on August 21, 1953.

Beloved wife of Bob C. Brooke Jr.; Devoted mother of Todd Giordano (Nicole), Ryan Magee (Colleen), Evan Magee (Annie), Francine Ann Taylor (William) and Robert Brooke III; Loving grandmother of Angelina Capoccetta, Dylan Magee, Jeremy Stone, Katie Stone, Caroline Castelli and great grandmother of 3; Dear sister of the late Sandra L. DeSimone and caring aunt of Lawrence DeSimone.

Linda was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who loved Randall Cunningham, Allen Iverson and especially Chase Utley.  She loved spending time with her grandkids and never missed a chance to watch Angelina dance or Dylan play baseball.   Linda loved to collect chochkes to decorate her home.  Reality TV shows or TV Land were favorites in the house, watching the King of Queens, Seinfeld or Everybody Loves Raymond.  She also enjoyed unwinding at the end of the day with a good Lemon Drop Martini.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, April 1 from 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday, April 2 from 10 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
