Obituary of Robert E. Monroe, Sr.

Robert E. Monroe, Sr., age 70 years of Pennsauken, passed away suddenly on April 19, 2025.  Robert was born on August 19, 1954 in Camden, NJ to the late Andrew and Bessie Monroe.

Devoted father of Letiah, Hassan (Nisha) and Jamal Wyche and Robert Jr., Ayanna and Isaac Monroe.  Loving grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 1.  Dear brother of Andrew Monroe (Angie), Vanessa Monroe-Hamilton, and Rodney Monroe (Cynthia).  Also survived by special friend, Yvonne Merchant and many loving nieces and nephews.

Robert enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing tennis, bowling, and painting.  He loved grilling and could be found most weekends hosting a BBQ with friends and family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 9:30-11 AM at the First Nazarene Baptist Church, 1500 S. 8th Street Camden, NJ.  Final disposition will take place privately.
