Obituary of Carol A. Gray

Carol Gray, age 69, of Cherry Hill, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025.  Carol was born, in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Marie Baker (nee Liberati).

Carol was the loving mother of Deneen and mother-in-law of Jeferson, and the proud and loving Nana to Giovanni, Tales, and Pablo, who were the lights of her life.  Recent Great Grandmom to Anthony and Miguel.

Carol was the cherished sister of her late siblings Johnny, Irma, Eileen, and Robert Baker. She was the fun cousin, the favorite aunt, the honest friend—always the life of the party and never one to hold back her truth. Carol called it like she saw it, and everyone loved her for it.

She adored her cat Sasha girl and her grand dog Lucian. Motown was her favorite—just a few of the little things that made her so uniquely Carol.

Her laugh lit up every room, and her memory will continue to bring laughter and warmth to those who knew her. Carol leaves behind love, laughter, and fierce honesty that won’t be forgotten.

A celebration of her life will be held later. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a story, a smile, or a photo in Carol’s memory.
