Tom is my uncle, just seven years my senior, but he always referred to me as his sister. He was always hard working and focused. Growing up together in Newark, NJ, we shared many memories. As a young teenager Tom held many jobs, mowing lawns, delivering newspapers, washing cars and working in the local Acme. Always with his eye on the prize, buying a car when he turned seventeen. From a very early age Tom was infatuated with automobiles. One of his first cars was a canary yellow plymouth. It was always a sunny day riding in that car with Tom, one he bought with his own saved money. He had a special bell under the floor mat that he would activate coming down Highland Avenue to announce his presence. No coincidence a new family had just moved in with a young beautiful red-headed daughter. It didn't take long for Tom to say "I'm going to marry that girl someday. And so he did. (I was so surprised to hear from Matt recently that he still has that bell in one of the vehicles at the Poconos.) Tom put himself through Seton Hall University and continued a beautiful and purposeful life. I will miss his hugs and years of love and support. Then, now, and always, with love. Beth

Tom was such a gentleman. His adoration of Family was unsurpassed. I had the privilege of sitting with Tom at Chase’s Christening Celebration. He was a true Renaissance Man; interesting, inquisitive and generous with his knowledge and life anecdotes. My orchids are in full bloom since that meal! Thank you Tom for sharing your passion for life. You will forever be loved and revered by those you inspired.

I have known Tom for over 30 years. His heart was always open for family and friends. He adopted friends as his family.
He was sincere and available to help anyone.Nothing was ever too difficult: fixing a golf cart, fixing a toilet, driving my son in a torrential rain 15 miles away for a driving test.
A few months ago, my husband and I had COVID .Tom left a bucket of chicken soup and NyQuil on the door step.
‘’ What can I do for you?” was his favorite question. He was a true Samaritan. Love you Tom and miss you already ! Halina

Tom was the most sincerely helpful person I know. He fixed the lawn mower, the snow blower, the golf cart, and various boat issues. He enjoyed the challenge, and gladly did the work.
His essence is a family man. I told him that he accomplished many things in life. And asked him what was his greatest accomplishment. He answered, “My Family “. Love you Tom, Walter Poprycz
