Dearest Nana ,
My heart aches knowing that you are gone from this earth . But I am at ease knowing you are in the arms of Jesus , as you loved him and lived your life with steadfast faith .
I am happy that you are being reunited with so many loved ones in heaven . I can hear you up there saying to Uncle Tommy , what are you doing here ? Because you didn’t know he had passed away .
How lucky are we to have had you in our lives . A woman of strength, courage , integrity, and the giver of unconditional love to everyone you knew . There are so many reasons to look up to you , and lessons to learn from the way you chose to live your life . I love that you weren’t materialistic. Your family was your wealth , and the love you procured from family and friends made you the wealthiest person I have ever known .
Thank you for always being there for me , calling to check on me every Sunday. Sending me thoughtful cards , and always thinking of Sadie . I will miss my McMillions rolls , haha ! You were always so thoughtful.
Thank you for letting me come stay with you and Tommy and brining my big horse of a dog to your house . Even though he jumped through your screen door trying to eat a squirrel, we had lots of great laughs remembering that moment .
I will never forget the way you loved and took care of my younger cousins , and my Aunt and Uncle when they were going through hard times . Or the unconditional love you had for Uncle Tommy when he was going through hard times .
Thank you for the laughter and the smiles and the Irish ☘️ sayings .
You were truly a woman with a heart of GOLD , a true gem !
I love you so much Nana , you will be sorely missed .
Love you always …..
Crissy

Dear Nana,
What a grand lady you were. We were all blessed to have you in our lives. Your kindness knew no bounds. We could always count on you and we often did. You and Pop Pop shared your home with us and our boys when we needed support. So many fond and fun memories. We enjoyed our many summers sharing beach houses in Avalon and especially Mamora. Just us and the mosquitoes. But when we made it to the beach, the days were heavenly. Just following the ‘Jimmie’ trail to Dippy Dons made for a good laugh. Barbara kept us entertained as she practiced doing the ‘Hustle’. What talent she had.
It only took the mention of ‘NanaKenney’ (typically said as if it was all one word) to feel the love and caring you had for each of us, especially your many grand and great grand children. In return, you were loved for being you and all the joy and kindness you brought to our families.
We are richer in spirit for what you gave of yourself and we hope that the values you set will continue to inspire all of us.

Nana Kenney had an awesome sense of humor. If you said anything funny she would laugh and she had a great laugh. She maintained that laugh and innocence and light heartedness throughout her whole life.
When I think of Nana its mostly funny memories. For some reason the one that stands out is one time she picked me up from prep school and we were on the highway back when Nana was still driving - I'm sure everybody remembers the Focus. When we got to the toll booth she had a handful of change and completely missed the basket. We both got a good kick out of that one. Either on that trip or a separate one she went down a ramp and ended up on the wrong side of the highway. Another good laugh.
We also had some good inside jokes, like 'you know, know what I mean', and 'juice and toast' (in an irish accent).
I always felt like I had a close special relationship with Nana Kenney but when I hear the other grandkids talk about her, all the cousins, I realize everybody feels the same way.
She would email often and was always appreciative when you sent her an email. She used to sign her messages (messeeges) 'All my love, always and forever' - because I think she knew that time is limited, or as Pop Pop Kenney would say, 'life is short'.
So I'll take that love from Nana always and forever, because she was letting me know that even after she is gone her love is still here.

Mrs. Kenney was the heart and soul of her close family, but she always extended her welcoming to all of us who were friends of her terrific kids. She treated us as if we were a part of that family. Her love is infinitely enduring as is her great memories from to 1950’s and 1960’s. I was fortunate to have had her in my life May she now Rest in Peace!

"Nana Kenney" had superstar status in our lives.... Small in stature, but immense in presence, she was cheerful, positive, encouraging, and fun, despite the many losses she endured. She had deep faith, attended church, and prayed consistently. I trust that she has secured a direct ticket to Heaven, among her many loved ones, where her spirit will live on - ALWAYS. Rest in peace, sweet Nana.

The Corbett family called her Aunt Margie. She was a part of all of our lives as my Dad and Uncle Tom were best friends since growing up together in North Camden. Aunt Margie and my Mom became fast friends early on while dating Uncle Tom and my Dad. Our memories of Aunt Margie are of a wonderful, sweet lady. We’ll remember her smile and laughter and just genuine good nature. We will miss her but are so glad she is at peace now. On Monday we will say our last toot-a-loo to our wonderful Aunt Margie. Our sympathies go out to her children, their spouses, grands and their spouses, the greats and all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace. Love all the Corbetts.
