Obituary of Luis E. Barreto

Luis E. Barreto, age 82 of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully at his home on May 18, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on March 20, 1943 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Lorenzo and Antonia Barreto.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Veneranda (nee Boneta); Devoted father of Angel (Marie Shelton); Loving grandfather of Angelica and Brianna and great grandfather of Stiles.  Dear brother of Carmen, Blanca and Jose Barreto; Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Prior to his retirement in 2008; Luis worked at Aluminum Shapes in Pennsauken for over 30 years.  An avid baseball fan, he enjoyed watching the Phillies.  Luis also loved antique cars, playing dominoes, tinkering with projects, woodworking and watching WWE.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Thursday, May 29 from 2 to 3 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM.
