Obituary of Joseph James Epps

Joseph James Epps, age 37, of Camden, passed away suddenly on June 5, 2025.  Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 25, 1988, Joseph was a 2006 graduate of Collingswood High School and graduated from Johnson and Wales University in 2010.

Devoted son of Iris V. Epps (nee Price) and the late John Epps.  Loving brother of Jessica Gallucci and her husband Kevin.  Dear nephew of Chris Price, Lydia Price, Fitzgerald Price Jr. and his wife Kharin, and Tito Willie.  Also survived by a host of family members, friends, and loved ones.

Joseph was working as a server at Hilton Garden Inn Camden Waterfront Philadelphia in Camden.  He was a lifelong sports fan who especially loved the New York Giants, soccer, and wrestling. He enjoyed watching games, talking sports, and sharing that passion with those around him.  Joseph had a deep appreciation for stories and imagination, often found reading comic books or watching Marvel movies. Flying his drone was another favorite hobby, giving him a chance to explore and capture the world from a different perspective.  He also enjoyed cooking and trying new foods, whether preparing a meal or sitting down to enjoy one.  Joseph’s life, though brief, was full of color, excitement, and heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 9-11AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Final disposition will take place privately.  At the request of the family, please wear bright and vibrant colors to the service to honor Joseph’s personality.
