Obituary of Rosalinda V. Maravilla

Rosalinda V. Maravilla (nee Velasquez) age 77 years, of Pennsauken passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 16, 2025.  She was born in Pangasinan, Philippines to the late Gregorio and Florencia Velazquez.

Beloved wife of Adonis A. Maravilla for 51 years.  Devoted mother of Maria Lynn Dela Fuente (George), Adonis Maravilla Jr. (Bernadette), Madelyn Mayo (Renyboy), and Michaela Lee (Curtis).  Loving grandmother of Vienne, Luiz, Royce, Gabrielle, Alexia, Amber, Audrey, Marienne, and Athalia.  Dear sister of Adeliada Velasquez.

Rosalinda was a dedicated teacher and then superintendent for many years in the Philippines, where she inspired countless students with her passion for learning.  When she moved to the US, Rosalinda then worked at PCRB for 15 years prior to retiring.   Outside of her professional life, she had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. She found peace and fulfillment in gardening and enjoyed cooking.  Her culinary skills were admired, with family and friends often enjoying her delicious meals.

An avid traveler, Rosalinda cherished exploring new places and capturing memories through photography. Her travels enriched her life and provided her with stories and experiences she loved to share. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed watching movies, finding both entertainment and relaxation in the stories they told.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 6-8 PM and Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM at St. Stephen Church, 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the family.
