Obituary of Juan Ortiz

Juan Ortiz, age 74 of Westville, passed away peacefully at his home on July 11, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico on February 22, 1951 to the late Arcadio and Albina (nee Matos) Oritz.

Beloved husband of Maria A. (nee Fernandez); Devoted father of Juan Jr., Carlos and Maria Ortiz and Johanny Olmo; Loving grandfather of Ashley Ortiz, Juan E. Ortiz, Sasha Colon, Emmanuel Ortiz, Frank Colon III, Christian Ortiz, Katherine Arce, Leilani Ortiz, Nathan Colon, William Colon Jr., Matthew Olmo, Johnathan Olmo, Andrew Olmo and the late Johnathan Ortiz.; Cherished great grandfather of 14; Dear brother of Eugenio Ortiz.

Juan loved the guitar, whether building them or playing with his band, Trio Renacer.  He also enjoyed baseball, boxing and tinkering with projects around the house.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, July 16 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden.
