Obituary of Eugene J. Kozlowski

Eugene J. “Gene” Kozlowski, age 81 of Bellmawr, passed away on July 12, 2025 at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township, NJ.

He is the beloved husband of 61 years of JoAnn (nee Celia); Devoted father of Gina (Matt) Riviello and Dina Alfano; Loving grandfather of Gianna, Adriana, Anthony III and Nicholas; Dear brother of Arlene (Frank) Wenzel and brother in law of Phyllis Robino.

Gene graduated from West Catholic High School in 1961. Prior to his graduation, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates, but an injury forced him to stop playing. He was then employed for 39 years with Sunoco Oil in Philadelphia, PA.  Gene was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.  He also enjoyed bowling and loved baseball. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, often as a spectator at their activities.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday from 9:30 to 11 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.  Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the National Shrine of St. Rita of Cascia, 1166 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146.
