Obituary of Olusegun A. Odunlami

Olusegun A. Odunlami, age 67, of Pennsauken New Jersey from Lagos Nigeria, was called home to be with the Lord on July 15th 2025. 

Born on August 9th 1958 in Lagos Nigeria, Olusegun was a faithful servant of Christ and proud member of Celestial Church of Christ VOG and a beloved father to Olanrewaju Odunlami, Oluwafemi Odunlami, and Nina Odunlami. He lived a life rooted in faith, love, discipline, grace, and devotion to God and his family.

Olusegun was a member of Voice of Grace Church and found joy in worship, prayer, and serving God. He will be remembered for his strong faith, serving his community, and for his devotion and passion for carrying out God's will.

Olusegun was an extraordinarily hard-working man—words alone cannot fully capture his dedication. The way he approached one task was the way he approached all things: with excellence, care, and purpose. Whether it was his work as an engineer at JMT, his service to the Lord, his devotion to his children, or his bond with his siblings, Olusegun gave his all.

His teachings and way of life will be honored for generations to come, living on in the hearts of those he touched. His legacy of faith, love, and integrity will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his sons Olanrewaju Odunlami and Oluwafemi Odunlami and his daughter Nina Odunlami, as well as his siblings Mr. Olugbenga Odunlami, Mrs. Dolupo Alhassan, Mrs. Olukemi Omola, and reunited in Heaven with loved ones.

A celebration of Olusegun’s life and faith will be held on Friday July 25th 2025 at 5:30pm at Falco/Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home 6600 Browning Rd, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08109. The family will receive visitors beginning at 5:30pm and the service will start at 7:00pm.  Final disposition will take place in Nigeria.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Celestial Church of Christ/VOG Parish, 46 Weber Street Ewing, NJ 08638.

Though we mourn Olusegun Odunlami passing, we take comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:21
