Obituary of Mary M. Hogate

Mary M. Hogate (nee Kepler) age 88 years of Alloway, passed away on July 18, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Meighan E. Hogate, Sr.  Devoted mother of Meighan E. Hogate, Jr. (Teresa) and Marsha Snajkowski.  Loving grandmother of Meighan III, Aaron, Elisabeth, and Lexie.  Dear sister of Rita Fulton.  Also survived by nephew, Alan Essler as well as many other loving nieces and nephews.

Mary was a gifted artisan whose creativity touched everything she did, from her intricate crafts to the vibrant gardens she lovingly tended. Her deep passion for nature, animals, and children was evident in the way she nurtured life around her, always with a gentle hand and a warm heart. Humble in spirit and proudly patriotic, Mary lived a life rooted in quiet strength and unwavering devotion. Above all, she cherished her family, playing an essential role in helping to raise her grandchildren, offering them love, wisdom, and a sense of wonder that will live on in their hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 12-1 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local ASPCA.
