Obituary of Luis E. Sanchez

Luis E. Sanchez, age 65 of Camden, passed away on July 28, 2025.  He was born in Maricao, Puerto Rico to the late Eduardo Sanchez and Carmen Garcia.

Beloved husband of Marilyn Sanchez (nee Baez).  Devoted father of Rosa Reyes, Louis Sanchez, Stephanie Figueroa, Ariel Sanchez, and Krystal Sanchez.  Loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 2.  Dear brother of Gilbert, Ada, Jose, Luz and the late Mikey Sanchez.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Luis worked for many years as an auto body mechanic and loved old fashioned cars.  He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and his daily walks around the neighborhood.  Luis also liked to spend time shopping at flea markets, always drawn to the unusual and overlooked items that others passed by.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 2:30-4 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM.  Final disposition will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
