Obituary of Harvey W Schachte

Harvey W. Schachte, age 86 years of Haddon Twp, passed away on August 12, 2025. 

Beloved husband of Jeraldine (nee Metzler).  Loving father of Billy (Liz), Andy (Sharon), and the late Jimmy and cherished stepfather of Jeffrey (Lisa) and the late David.  Devoted grandfather of 3.  Dear brother of the late Royal Jr. and Bob.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement, Harvey was employed as an executive at Crown Cork and Seal in Philadelphia and was very proud of his job.  He was patriotic being born on the 4^th of July and was a US Army National Guard Veteran.  Harvey was a longtime member of the Merchantville Country Club and loved golfing.  He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed many summer days at the Crystal Lake Pool.  Harvey will be missed by all who knew him.
