Obituary of Maria I. Medina

Maria I. Medina (nee Molina), age 83 years, of Camden, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 7, 2025.

Beloved wife of Rosendo Medina for 62 years.  Devoted mother of Wanda Medina (Werner Lopez), Carmen Medina (Santos Rivera), Jose Medina (Milagros Valentin), Denistol Medina (Johana Medina), Ivelis Medina (Alex Colon), Gustavo Jimenez (Luisa Ramirez) and the late Audeliz Medina.  Loving grandmother of 24, great grandmother of 38, and great, great grandmother of 3.  Dear sister of Ediberta Molina.  Also survived by her cherished chihuahua, Cheeky.

Maria was devoted to her church and lived her life guided by faith, kindness, and compassion.  She was known as “everyone’s mom,” and she had a special way of making people feel cared for and welcomed.

She loved cooking for others, tending to her garden, and filling her home with beautiful flowers and plants. Her door was always open, her table always full, and her heart always giving.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 6-8 PM and Friday, September 12, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM.  Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market Street Suite 250, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
