Obituary of Luisa Miranda
Luisa Miranda (nee Pizzaro), age 85 years, of Camden, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on September 15, 2025. Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to the late Cayetana Pizzaro.
Beloved wife of the late Felix Miranda-Zayas “Deacon Tito”. Devoted mother of Luis (Maria) Miranda, Jose (Marisol) Miranda, Wanda (Ronald) Miranda-Lattanzio, Rick (Jennifer) Miranda, and Zaida Aviles. Loving grandmother of Amanda, Alyssa, Alexandra, Antonio, Andres, Michael, Christina, Ricardo Jr., Rolando, Britney, Briana, Annelis, Ed and Billy and cherished great grandmother of RJ, Amelia, Alaina, Scarlett, Sophia, Leanna, Leah and Analaya. Dear sister of Margot Pizzaro. Also survived by her furry companion, Maya, many friends, nieces and nephews.
Luisa lived a life rooted in devotion—to her Catholic faith, to her family, and to the many simple joys that brought her peace and purpose. She was an active parishioner serving as a Eucharistic Minister, leading and scheduling of the lectors and president de la Sociedad de Damas at Our Lady of Fatima church and St .Anthony of Padua Church. Luisa found deep meaning in her spiritual life, attending Mass regularly, serving her community through the church, and offering prayers for others with a heart full of compassion. She also volunteered her time at the local Food Bank.
She enjoyed the simple things in life—spending time with her family, tending to her garden, cooking meals from the heart, and creating handmade crafts. Her home was always warm and welcoming, filled with good food, laughter, and love. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
