Michael Cipriano

Obituary of Michael L Cipriano

Michael L. Cipriano "Cip" of Pennsauken, on September 15, 2025, passed away suddenly at 52 years.

Devoted brother of Michelle (Salvatore) Bonamassa; Cherished uncle of Natalie, Julia and Jessica; Caring nephew of Roseanna DiBrienza; Dear cousin of Nicole DiBattista & second cousin of Vito Aviolla; Also survived by many friends. Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Joan (nee Garsh) and his grandparents Louis and Philomena Cipriano and John and Joan Garsh.

Michael “Cip” grew up in Pennsauken, graduating from Pennsauken High School before earning his bachelor’s degree at Widener University. He spent 20 years proudly serving as a Pennsauken Police Officer, after starting his career in law enforcement as a corrections officer in Bordentown.

After retiring, Michael followed his passion of acting. He began auditioning and landed roles as an extra in TV commercials, movies, and various advertisements. He loved everything about it– the excitement, the acting, and the wardrobe. We were so proud of him for following his passion.

Michael was the kind of person who made life better just by being around. Always in Eagles gear (no matter the season), his smile lit up every room, and his laugh was contagious. He had a big heart, an easy charm, and a gift for making people feel seen, accepted, and appreciated exactly as they were. His generosity knew no bounds. He would give the shirt off his back without hesitation, and he did it all with humility and love. Michael carried an effortless warmth about him, and his personality was magnetic.

He was a true Philadelphia sports fan, a die-hard Eagles supporter, and an avid WWE enthusiast. He had a deep love for animals, a sneaker collection to be proud of, and always took pride in being well-groomed with a signature beard and hairstyle. Michael was also incredibly proud of his Italian heritage.

Cip was fun, loving, sociable, loud, and full of life. He leaves behind a family and circle of friends who adore him, countless memories that will be cherished forever, and a reminder to live life with heart and humor. Michael’s life was tragically cut short, and the loss is felt deeply by all who love him.
