Obituary of Luis A. Jimenez

Luis A. Jimenez, age 63 left this world peacefully on October 24, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at Cooper Hospital in Camden.  Luis was born on August 18, 1962 in Camden, the son of Luz (nee Santiago) and the late Luis Jimenez.  He grew up in Camden, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep love for his family.

A loving spouse to Elizabeth Ares, Luis was a pillar of strength and support for his family.  Together, they raised 5 children.  He was a devoted father, always there to offer guidance, love and a hearty laugh.  He cherished family gatherings and his presence at holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy to those around him.

Luis had many passions in life, including music, baseball, carpentry, gardening and detailing his car, which he enjoyed sharing with his children and grandchildren.  He was known for his notable personality traits and his sense of humor could light up any room.

He is the beloved husband of Elizabeth Ares, devoted father of Jonathan Ginorio, Roberto Jimenez, Jessica Jimenez, Janet Jimenez, Luis F. Jimenez, Alianna Jimenez; loving grandfather of 7 and dear brother of Carlos, David and Lucy Jimenez.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends  who will miss him dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Avenue, where a Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held at 11AM.  Interment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden.
