Obituary of Maria Luisa Diaz

Maria L. Diaz (nee Rodriguez), age 93 years of Camden, passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
 
Beloved wife of the late Lorenzo Diaz. Devoted mother of Digna M. Quiles, Noemi Gonzalez (the late William), Eva Sanchez (Rafael), and George Diaz (the late Theresa). Loving grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 15. Dear sister of 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
 
Prior to retirement, Maria worked for many years as a seamstress. She loved taking yearly trips to Puerto Rico. Those were her most memorable journeys. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Wednesday, November 5, from 6-8 PM, and Thursday, November 6, from 8:15-9:15 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street in Camden. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 399 Market Street Suite 250, Philadelphia, PA 19106 or to the American Diabetes Association at P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
