Obituary of Joseph A. Anthony Jr.
Joseph A. Anthony, Jr., of Pennsauken, passed away suddenly on his 56th birthday on October 31, 2025.
Born in Camden, NJ to the late Joseph A. Anthony, Sr. and Loretta Anthony (nee Pedeline).
Devoted father of Janina Anthony. Dear brother of Marco Anthony and his wife Kimberly. Loving uncle of Marco, Jr. and Michael. Also survived by his best friend, Dwayne Grazioli.
Joseph was employed for many years with Pennsauken Public Works in the Highway Department. He also worked for the Pennsauken Police Department and then Flannigan’s Towing where he worked in dispatch. Joseph enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, from a good home-cooked meal to spending time with family. Sunday dinners and holidays at his parents’ house were always a highlight, where he could relax, share a laugh, and enjoy good food with those he cared about most.
Most of all, nothing meant more to Joseph than his daughter. Whether they were driving each other crazy or simply spending quiet moments together, he would do anything to make sure she was always cared for. His dedication to her was immeasurable, his knack for telling the corniest dad jokes, and his devotion to family will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 1:30-3:30 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made directly to the funeral home to go towards final expenses.
