Obituary of Victor M. Serrano Sr.

Victor M. Serrano, Sr., age 78 of Camden, passed away on November 28, 2025 at his daughter's home in Cherry Hill.  He was born on February 6, 1947 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico to the late Mariano and Josefina (nee Cartagena) Serrano.

Beloved husband of Eva J. (nee Santos); Devoted father of Nancy (Moises) Rolon, Victor M. Serrano, Jr., Maria L. (Christopher) Lopez, Christina (German) Beltran, Lissette A. (Marcus) Maldonado and Teresa Serrano; Dear brother of Josefina, Rosa Margarita and the late Jose Ines, Julio Enrique, Pedro, Haydee, Felix Antonio and Miguel Angel Serrano; Loving grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 8.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Victor loved to be outdoors, whether fishing, landscaping or tending to the garden.  He cherished his family above all else, was extremely proud of his Puerto Rican heritage and Catholic faith, and was always willing to lend a hand and help out his neighbors.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, December 5 from 10 to 11 AM at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 28th and River Avenue in Camden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
