Obituary of Joyice Bernice Brown

Joyice Bernice Brown (nee Young), age 72 of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Richmond, Virginia on January 12, 1953 to the late Thomas and Mary (nee Bernett) Young.

Devoted mother of Praise J.R. Brown; Dear sister of Doris May, Wendy M. and the late Denise, Mary Ann, Sandra and Thomas Young.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and is predeceased by her husband Raymond G. Brown, Jr.

Joyice had a passion for working with children through Vacation Bible School sessions and many crafting clubs. She was an accomplished artist and poet, having many of her works published. Joyice loved traveling, cooking, reading and gardening.  She also enjoyed expressing her creative talents through poetry, art, crafting, knitting, crocheting and painting.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, December 12 from 10 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
