Francis, also known as “Little Shiek”, was from the Overbrook section of West Philadelphia where he grew up with his parents, siblings, and a large Italian family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Francis was a graduate of St. Thomas More high school, where he enjoyed playing football. In the summer of 1960, Francis met his wife Carol of 63 years on the Wildwood boardwalk, and became a beloved In-law to another large Italian family from Camden, NJ. In May of 1969 they purchased their home in Mt. Ephraim where they raised their children and took care of their six grandchildren. Francis enjoyed golfing and watching sports. He was a big Philly sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies.

After retirement, he freelanced at Macro Sensor. He enjoyed his time working and cherished all the connections and friends he made at these companies.
Most of all, family is what gave Francis the most joy! He was a dedicated husband, proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He immensely enjoyed being with his family for holidays, celebrations, milestones, and much more! Francis always greeted you with a smile, hand shake, and warm hug.
