Obituary of Mary L. Rosato
Mary “Marie” L. Rosato (nee Sgro), age 87 years of Cherry Hill, formerly of Smithville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 28, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph C. Rosato, Sr. Devoted mother of Joanna Rosato, Joseph C. Rosato Jr. (Elizabeth), and Michael A. Rosato (Bridget). Loving grandmother of Heather, Stacey, Kristin, Dominic, and Anthony and great grandmother of Avery and Addison. Dear sister of the late Louise Martin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Marie was a kind, lively person who brought joy to everyone around her. Whether she was enjoying a good TV show, hanging out with friends, or sharing a glass of chardonnay, Marie’s energy and sense of humor were always at the heart of every gathering.
She had a deep love for movies, music, and TV, especially her favorite shows like Law and Order and Lidia’s Kitchen. Marie was also active on social media, keeping in touch with friends and family and always posting something that made people smile. Shopping was another of her passions, and she loved finding the perfect gift or picking up something new for herself.
Marie was known for being outgoing, social, and always the life of the party. She had a special way of making everyone feel included and at ease. To many, she was more than a friend, she was a second mom. Her caring nature and resilience in life touched everyone who knew her.
Marie’s love for life and the people in it will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to have shared time with her. She will be missed, but her spirit will live on in the memories and stories she leaves behind.
