Obituary of Sarah Rosaria Ruffolo

Sarah Rosaria Ruffolo, age 93 of Pennsauken, passed away on January 27, 2026 at Jefferson Hospital in Cherry Hill.  She was born on October 2, 1932 in Calabria, Italy to the late Marino and Virginia (nee Ruffolo) Casole.

Beloved mother of Diane Clerico, Laurie Rossi (Thomas) and Frank Ruffolo (Laura); Loving grandmother of Nicole (Robert), Vincent (Kristen), Alyssa, Damiane and Gianna and great grandmother of Nicholas, Anthony, Matthew, Malania, Aubrianna and Lydia; Dear sister of the late John, Mary and Francesca.

Sarah worked for many years as a seamstress.  She was a devout Catholic who cherished spending time with her family, loved to pray the rosary and also enjoyed traveling, tending to her plants, gardening, listening to Italian music, dancing and watching the Hallmark Channel.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Church of St. Peter, 43 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Companion of St. Anthony at 12290 Folly Quarter Road, Ellicott City, MD 21042.
