Obituary of Joyce A. Pennington

Joyce A. Pennington (nee Dodson), age 90 of Maple Shade, formerly of Pennsauken, NJ and Princeton, WV, passed away peacefully at her home on February 7, 2026 surrounded by her family.  She was born on May 20, 1935 in Montcalm, WV to the late Elmer and Gladys (nee Riggs) Dodson.

Beloved wife of the late Silas S.; Devoted mother of Wendy A. Farnsworth (Bryon) and Keith Pennington (Michelle); Loving grandmother of Melissa Connor, Joseph Palermo, Scott Pennington, Brandon Pennington, Brian Pennington and Butch Taylor; Dear sister of Janice Mills (late Edward) and the late Dennis Dodson (Dana); Cherished aunt of Regina Willis, Kathy Asbury, Karen Clark Heaton and Janet Adkins and great aunt of Craig Kilburn and Lauren Glover.

Joyce was a dedicated family person who took great pride in caring for her family, whether it was caring for her mother or babysitting her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed traveling back to her home state of West Virginia every summer to spend time with family, relaxing and watching her favorite soap operas on tv, cooking and enjoying sweets with a cup of coffee, or spending time with the family dogs Brooklyn and Rocky.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 9 to 10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM.  Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
