Obituary of Gloria M. Martinez

Gloria M. Martinez, age 72 years of Camden, passed away on April 26, 2026.  Born in Rio Blanco, Naguabo Puerto Rico to the late Pedro and Mercedes Cruz.

Beloved longtime friend of Jose Martinez, Sr.  Devoted mother of Jose Martinez, Jr. and his wife Priscilla, Elizabeth Santana and her husband Juan and the late Guillermo “Bill” Martinez.  Loving grandmother of Lucas Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Rachel Martinez, Deborah Martinez, Abigail Martinez and Jacqueline Santana and great grandmother of Isaac, Mila Rose, Jeremiah and Azias.  Dear sister of Pedro, Maria, Carmen and the late Hector Cruz.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement, Gloria was a lunch aide at Sharp Elementary School and then Woodrow Wilson High School for 15 years.   She was a woman of unwavering faith, devoted her life to raising her children with the same strong spiritual foundation, while giving generously to others. As a life member of the Congregation of Yahweh, Gloria was an active participant in their women's programs and served as a dedicated missionary, touching the lives of many with her love and devotion.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 3-5 PM and Monday, May 4, 2026, from 10-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browing Road.  A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 5 PM.  Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson on Monday following the viewing.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to Congregation of Yahweh 803 N. 33^rd Street Camden, NJ 08105.
