Maria Ceballo Mateo, age 76 years of Camden, passed away on May 27, 2026.
Beloved wife of Carlos Henry Mateo. Devoted mother of the late Leonel and stepmother of Erika and Tommy. Dear sister of Santa, Maritza (Richard), Juanito and the late Eljio and Bernito. Loving aunt of Kayla, Patricia, Madeline, and Linnette.
Maria was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided her throughout her life. She found joy in cleaning and caring for her home and family, especially through cooking, hosting, and taking care of the children. Maria also had a green thumb for plants and gardening. She enjoyed spending time watching Novellas and was known for her funny personality. Maria was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and was deeply compassionate toward others. Her caring nature and humanitarian spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Maria will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, faith, and the love she shared with her family, friends, and community.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 3-5 PM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 5 PM. Final disposition will take place privately.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the family.
