Obituary of Mario Marsico

Mario Marsico, age 84, passed away on May 30, 2026 at Virtua Hospital in Marlton.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 7, 1942 to the late Dominic and Angelina (nee Tarsitana) Marsico.  He was raised in South Philly and continued to live in the city until moving to Maple Shade over 30 years ago.

He is survived by Carmen Nunez, his companion of more than 35 years, a brother Raymond Marsico, nieces, nephews and cousins. He embodied the title of grandfather to all of Carmen’s granddaughters , grandson and great-grandchildren. All 3 of his Samanthas were always his number 1 love. 

Mario was a butcher by trade, and he appreciated good food, good music and good company. He loved the Godfather, listening to Frank Sinatra and the Oldies, watching the Phillies and Eagles and enjoying Sunday dinners at Carmen's house.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 10 to 11 AM at the Church of Mary, Queen of All Saints, 48th Street and Camden Avenue in Pennsauken, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.
