Obituary of Doris N. Martinez

Doris N. Martinez (nee Montalvo), age 89 of Camden, passed away on June 3, 2026 at her home.  She was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico on October 11, 1936 to the late Pedro and Camelia (nee Vazquez) Montalvo.

Beloved wife of the late Arcenio Martinez; Devoted mother of Sadia Sanchez, Pedro "Pete" Campos and Marisol Campos (Nelson Gonzalez); Loving grandmother of Amy Maria Rosario, Ruben Rosario, Jonathan Cintron, Mitchell Rosario, Victoria Cintron, Ashley Ramos, Rebecca Gonzalez, Doris Campos, Julia Campos, Emmanuel Gonzalez and Isaiah Gonzalez; Cherished great grandmother of 39. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. Doris is predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters.

Doris was extremely devoted to her faith and her church.  She was the epitome of the phrase "turn the other cheek" - she never held a grudge and was the most kind-hearted person you could ever hope to meet.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, June 12 from 10:30 AM to Noon at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Avenue, where a Funeral Service will be held at Noon.  Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
