Obituary of Carmen L. Cordero

Carmen L. Cordero (nee Travieso), age 82 of Camden, passed away on June 23, 2026 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden.  She was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico on November 22, 1943 to the late Francisco and Ramona (nee Vega) Travieso.

Beloved wife of the late Miguel A. Cordero; Devoted mother of Michael Santana, Jacqueline Santana (Jose Lebron), Jeannette Cortes (Eddie), Brenda Quinones (Alex) and the late George Martinez and Yvette Martinez; Loving grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 24; Dear sister of Olga Luz, Francisco Jr. and Carmen Milagros Travieso.

Carmen cherished the time she spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories through laughter and conversation. She also enjoyed unwinding with her favorite telenovelas, often becoming absorbed in their dramatic storyline. She loved challenging herself with word search puzzles to keep her mind engaged and sharp..

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, June 30 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Avenue, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
