Obituary of Emma Nicole Forker

Emma Nicole Forker, 19, passed away Tuesday the 23rd of June 2026. She was born March 14, 2007 to Chuckie and Bobbi Forker at Underwood Hospital in Woodbury, NJ.

Emma is survived by her parents Charles and Bobbi Nicole, her sister Corey Forker, brother Chris Augustin (Jen), her late dog Minidog and many aunts, uncle, cousins, friends and her “bonus” Dugan-Yambo families who will cherish her forever.

Emma would spend her early schooling years at Woodbury, establishing friendships that would follow her through her move to Haddon Township, where she switched sophomore year to Haddon Township High School. Emma became deeply passionate about art, particularly ceramics, where each piece she made held a personal meaning, with a touching backstory. According to her teacher Mrs. Arabia, Emma would frequently spend her free periods in the art classroom working on her pieces and likely talking Mrs. Arabia’s ear off.

While art was deep in Emma’s soul, history was a love she was pursuing as a career.  Emma would spend hours absorbing historical events from YouTube and like her sister wanted to share what she learned with everyone. Her goal was to become a history teacher. In pursuit of this, Emma was accepted to Rider University for fall 2025.  However, she made such a mature and difficult decision to instead attend Camden County as she did not feel ready to leave home yet. To this end, she was ready to attend CCC fall 2026. The reason for her delay to CCC was because Emma happily joined the staff at The Heights School of Westmont the summer of 2025. She wanted to work full-time with them before heading off again to pursue her education. Every day she would gush about all the kids in her school, proudly telling us the silly things they did that day. And sometimes the gross things because kids will be kids. 

When Emma was not working, she loved spending time with her family and friends such as Justice, Samari, Emma, Andrew and far too many to list. This could be playing pool upstairs at her parent’s home, going swimming (sometimes fully clothed) at her sister’s with her friends in tow, making art with her brother and sister-in-law, or dying the hair of her beloved dog Moose which we are certain he did not care for the colors she’d pick. Emma had a love for collecting things. Funko Pops, Legos, Squishmallows, gemstones, jewelry and the list goes on, and on.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, July 1st from 9am until noon with services to follow at noon at Falco Caruso and Leonard Funeral Home in Pennsauken, 6600 N. Browning Road. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the GoFundMe account set up to assist with final expenses.
