Obituary of Richard D. Reustle Sr.

Richard D. Reustle Sr., of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 26, 2026 at 82 years in his home. Beloved husband of the late Linda for 50 years. Devoted father of Richard Jr. (Michelle), Steve, and Joseph (Ellen); Cherished grandfather of Rebecca, Rachel, Richard III, Emilie, Sarah, Ryan, Sara & Nicolas; Caring great grandfather of Christopher, Carter, Grace & Lucia. Dear brother of Albert (Sharon), Elaine (Albert) Cathers, Cynthia "Cindy" (George) Lesher, and the late Francis and Carolyn Ruth. Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.

Prior to retiring, Richard built a proud and accomplished career as a data engineer with RCA and a few other companies. His work took him across the country for many years, and he cherished every moment of those travels. A true family man, he loved his entire family with a heart larger than life. He made it his mission to preserve their memories—always behind a camera, photographing or filming every milestone and everyday joy.

Richard was also the kind of man who could fix anything around the house. Whether it was a small repair or a complicated project, he approached it with patience, skill, and a determination to make things better for the people he loved.

His passions were just as impressive. Aviation fascinated him deeply; he loved understanding the mechanics of flight and eventually earned his pilot's license. Drag racing captured his excitement too, adding another thrill to his life.

When it came to vacations, some of his most treasured moments were spent cruising with his wife, enjoying the peace, adventure, and time together.

Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Monday from 9 to 11 AM at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 Browning Road in Pennsauken. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11 AM. Burial of cremains will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
