Obituary of Iris N. Medina

Beloved wife of Miguel Angel Medina. Devoted mother of Miguel Angel Medina, Jr., Michelle Lee Medina, and Moriah Lee Medina. Loving grandmother of Jesiah and Jessalee Medina. Beloved mother-in-law of Yajaira Medina. Cherished daughter of Irene Fuentes and the late Pedro Miranda. Beloved sister of Jeannette, Mayra, Johanna, Angel, Jose, Julio, Felix, Marcelina, Elena, Marilyn, and Gloria Miranda. She was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and a cherished niece to her beloved aunts and uncles.

Iris found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a sweet tooth and loved her Pepsi. She cherished staying connected with family and friends through Facebook and long phone conversations. Family meant everything to Iris, and some of her happiest moments were spent gathered together, cooking dinner, laughing, and creating memories with those she loved. She enjoyed taking trips with her children and grandchildren, but above all, Iris’s greatest joy was simply being surrounded by her children and family.

Iris also shared a very special bond with her beloved dog, Blackie. He was more than just a pet—he was her world and her best companion. She loved him dearly, and their bond was truly special. Blackie passed away on March 22, 2024, but the love they shared remained a cherished part of Iris’s heart.

Anyone who knew Iris knew she had a way of lighting up every room she walked into. Her high spirits, goofy personality, and contagious laughter brought smiles to everyone around her. She had a kind heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and a gift for making people feel welcome and loved. Above all, Iris will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the happiness she spread, and the countless treasured memories she created with her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, Pennsauken, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden.
