Obituary of James J. McCann

James J. McCann, age 77 years of Pennsauken, NJ,  formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on August 15, 2026.

James was born on August 9, 1949 to the late Charles F. and Ethel A. McCann (nee Thornton). Beloved husband of Linda J. McCann (nee MacBride). Devoted father of Cara Brynn Pyle (Dave). Loving Pop Pop of Hailey Joy Pyle and Dylan James Pyle. Dear brother of Agnes E. Guerin (the late Michael) and the late William McCann, Edward McCann, and Charles McCann (the late Arlene). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

James was a proud US veteran, serving as an MP and General's Driver during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he worked in the steel industry for over 40 years. James will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
