Markley, passed away on April 8, 2013 of Cherry Hill.  Age 81 years.  Beloved husband of Patricia K. (nee Costigan).  Devoted father of Denise Colaiacovo.  Loving grandfather of Matthew.  Dear brother of Joan Herrmann and brother in law of Denise Hecker, Robert Costigan and the late Joseph Costigan.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Mr. Markley was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia. Prior to retirement, Mr. Markley was employed at the Philadelphia Inquirer for over 30 years.  He was also a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday from 1:30 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 3 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
