"Frank" Salerno, age 72 of Palmyra, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on December 28, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Janet V. (nee Romanini); Devoted father of Dr. Christopher (Janice) Salerno, D.O., and Victoria (Edward) O'Donnell; Loving grandfather of Ryan, Lauren, Katelyn, Grace and Chloe; Dear brother of Raymond (Sara) Salerno; Also survived by his loving sister in law Maria (Glenn) Sudeck and many loving cousins and nephews. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Salerno was a teacher for over 30 years at Abington High School.  He received his BA in Education and History at LaSalle University and his Master's at Villanova University.  He was a loving and devoted husband and family man, and was a very faithful parishioner at St. Peter's Church in Merchantville. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville.  Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill. The family requests memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Janet Salerno Scholarship Fund c/o Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, 236 East Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ 08052.
