Obituary of Julio J Cortes Sr.

Julio J. Cortes, Sr., age 58 of Camden, passed away suddenly at his home on March 19, 2024.  He was born on July 4, 1965 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Andres Cortes and Carmen Montero.

Beloved husband of over 25 years to Norma (nee Rodriguez); devoted father of Tiffany Milan-Borrero (Vicente) and Julio J. Cortes Jr. (Geraldine Franklin); Loving grandfather of Andy, Anisette, Arielle and Alainna; dear brother of Bexaida, Edwin, Hilda, Daniel, Lucy, Freddy and Noel.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends.

Julio loved to watch tv and horror movies.  He enjoyed having a big bowl of cereal or ice cream.  Julio was an animal lover who often helped mend injured animals.  He took pride in being a hard worker and spending time with his family.  Julio and his wife Norma celebrated 38 years of being together as a couple on Sunday, March 17.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, March 25 between 1:45 and 2:00 PM at Morgan Cemetery, 1100 Cinnaminson Avenue in Cinnaminson, where graveside services will begin promptly at 2:00.
